BOSTON - Army West Point was the only Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) team to compete in game action on Sunday and topped Stonehill 6-1 in West Point, N.Y.
The home team now posts a 2-0-1 record, its best start since going 3-0-0 in 2019-20.
The Black Knights matched (RV) Sacred Heart for the most goals in a single game this season by an AHA program.
Army West Point had four players record multi-point efforts against the Skyhawks, with sophomore forward Adam Marshall recording three points (2G-1A).
Junior forward Vincent Salice also scored twice in the contest.
Sophomore netminder JJ Cataldo made 40 saves in the game, the third time in his collegiate career he has made 40-plus.
This was also the first win for the Black Knights over visiting Stonehill. Last November, the Skyhawks topped Army West Point 3-1.
