The Crusaders fall in their 2025-26 home opener.

BOSTON - In Tuesday's only Division I hockey contest, Atlantic Hockey America's (AHA) Holy Cross hosted No. 6/6 Quinnipiac of ECAC Hockey in its first game on home ice at Hart Center Rink this season.

The Bobcats outshot the Crusaders 45-27 and scored two straight in the opening frame to take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Senior forward Jack Seymour's first goal this season served as the only one for Holy Cross in the contest.

Quinnipiac scored two power-play goals, one in the first 20 minutes and the second in the third period.

Senior goaltender Louden Hogg set a career high with 41 saves in the contest, the most since Oct. 2022 during his freshman campaign.
