BOSTON - Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) had four teams take the ice on Friday, with two of them playing in their inaugural games of the 2025-26 regular season while the remaining pair played in exhibition contests.
Senior forward Hunter Andrew netted the game's second goal against (RV)/No. 20 Clarkson, which would be the eventual game-winner in a 3-1 upset victory.
Senior netminder Chase Clark made 31 saves and allowed one goal in his season debut.
Junior defenseman Tyler DesRochers scored Mercyhurst's sole goal in its 1-11 loss at No. 12/12 Michigan.
Air Force freshman forward Oliver Genest tied the exhibition matchup with (RV) Omaha 16:58 into the third period to force overtime. However, the Falcons fell 2-3 only 33 seconds into overtime.
Army was shutout in a 0-3 exhibition loss with LIU in West Point, N.Y.
