AHA Men's Final Frame (Oct. 31, 2025)

AHA teams go 2-0 in non-conference games, Robert Morris wins its first game in 2025-26.

BOSTON - Eight Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed on Friday night, including two that faced ECAC Hockey opponents.

In the series finale, (RV) Sacred Heart and Holy Cross traded punches back-and-forth, trading off goals. Neither group could break the 2-2 tie after Sacred Heart tied the game on a power play with 8:57 remaining. 60:00 was not enough, as the game went into overtime.

Neither team could find the back of the net in extra time, so it went to a shootout. Senior forward Matt DeBoer buried the only shootout goal to give the Crusaders an extra point in the AHA standings.

Senior forward Jack Stockfish scored both for the home team in the contest.

RIT traveled to Hamilton, N.Y., to face Colgate in non-conference action. The Tigers beat the home team 3-1 behind three different goal scorers for their first win over Colgate since 2019-20. Senior forward Tyler Mahan scored in his third straight game and is tied for the most goals (4) since Oct. 24.

Sophomore netminder Jakub Krbecek made 14 saves and earned his fourth win this season, tied for the most among all goaltenders with exactly five games played.

Air Force and (RV) Brown were scoreless through 50:36 of gameplay until junior blueliner Nolan Cunningham scored his first of the season. The Falcons tacked on one more, but Cunningham is credited with the game-winner.

Junior goaltender Dominik Wasik made 13 saves to earn his first collegiate shutout and win.

At one point, Niagara knotted the score at 2-2 until Robert Morris's junior forward Tanner Klimpke scored his first two goals of the game more than halfway through the final frame. This was the Colonials' first conference and overall victory of the 2025-26 campaign.

Bentley remains undefeated in conference play after it handled Mercyhurst 3-1 in Erie, Pa. The Falcons and Lakers were tied 1-1 in the third, but freshman defenseman Alec Leonard scored his first goal of the season and took the lead for good.
