BOSTON - Three of five contests featuring an Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) program were decided by only one goal, with two of those being road victories.
RIT escaped game one at Robert Morris with a 2-1 victory to earn its eighth straight, which is tied for the longest overall and active streak this season. Sophomore netminder Jakub Krbecek made 18 saves on 19 shots he faced.
With 3:31 remaining, freshman forward Zach Wigle netted the game-winner to break the tie for good.
(RV) Sacred Heart senior forward Felix Trudeau recorded his first career hat trick, also the only AHA skater to do so in 2025-26. The first in the conference since Jan. 11, 2025 (A.J. Hodges, Bentley). Freshman forward Gavin Bryant had his second consecutive multi-point game (first multi-goal) after he tallied three (2G-1A) against Canisius.
Sophomore netminder Ajeet Gundarah made 24 saves in the 6-1 win.
After opening the scoring on its home ice, Niagara picked up its first win in November over Army West Point 6-4 behind a two-goal performance from junior forward Declan McDonnell.
(RV) Bentley now leads the all-time series between it and Alaska Anchorage 1-0 after it fled the arena with a 2-1 overtime victory in Waltham, Mass. Sophomore defenseman David Helledy found the back of the net with his first collegiate game-winning goal in overtime.
Freshman Lukas Swedin made his first career start at home and made 29 saves in front of the Falcons' home crowd.
Senior forward Jack Seymour potted a late empty net goal at the 18:24 mark of the game to extend (RV) Holy Cross's lead 3-1. It would prove to be the deciding goal as Air Force answered back to make it a one-score game 19:08 into the contest.
Air Force could not finish the late comeback, and the Crusaders earned a 3-2 win, their third straight victory. Holy Cross is 5-0-1 in its last six games.
