AHA Men's Final Frame (Nov. 1, 2025)

AHA goes 4-0 in non-conference matchups this weekend. Bentley and Robert Morris sweep on the road.

BOSTON - Eight Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed on Saturday, including two squads playing non-conference action.

Air Force earned its first sweep of the season, and the first at home since last November when it downed (RV) Brown 4-3. Sophomore defenseman Jake Peterson had three helpers in the effort. Junior defenseman Will Staring scored twice for the Falcons.

RIT outscored ECAC Hockey's Colgate 7-2 on the weekend, including their 4-1 win to clinch the sweep. Senior forward Tyler Mahan continued his dominant goal-scoring streak, as he netted his fifth goal over his last four games played.

Sophomore goaltender Jakub Krbecek allowed two goals on 42 shots faced in two games at Colgate.

Bentley more than doubled its goal total as it found the back of the net seven times (season high) to sweep Mercyhurst with a 7-1 victory. The Falcons have only had a six-goal differential in a game once since 2020-21 (6-0 win, Feb. 2, 2025 vs Robert Morris).

Sophomore forward Dylan Cook had three points (1G-2A), and forward Owen Goodbrand scored to bring his weekend total to three, tied for the lead among Division I freshmen.

In the second game of a home-and-home set, Robert Morris scored its most goals (8) in a single series against Niagara since 2016-17. The visitors took down the Purple Eagles on the road 4-3 to earn a sweep in its AHA opening series.

Four Colonials scored in Saturday's game, and freshman forward Bruce McDonald had two assists in the victory.

Army West Point and Canisius traded off scoring every other goal in regulation, with the visiting team striking first at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo, N.Y. Three of the four goals scored in 60:00 came during the middle frame.

Black Knights' sophomore forward Ben Ivey was the only skater to record a multi-point game in the contest, as he tallied two (2A). Freshman forward Carter Anderson scored the game-tying goal for Canisius 13:47 into the third.

Three periods of play were not enough as the game went to overtime. In overtime, neither team put a shot on net, and the game was sent to a shootout.

The Golden Griffins took the extra point in the standings as they won the shootout 2-0.
