AHA Men's Final Frame (Nov. 26, 2025)

Holy Cross makes a late push to force overtime against a top-10 team. AHA sees its fourth hat trick of November.

HAMDEN, Conn. - (RV) Holy Cross was the only Atlantic Hockey team to compete on Wednesday, as it visited No. 8/8 Quinnipiac and forced overtime.

The Crusaders fell on the scoreboard 0-1 within the first 1:30, and saw the slide continue as the Bobcats extended their lead 3-0 into the first intermission.

Senior forward Matt DeBoer was one of three Holy Cross skaters to net a goal to climb back and make it 3-3 in the third. Once again, Quinnipiac added three more to the board and made it a 6-3 game in the home squad's favor.

However, the Crusaders could not be counted out as they scored three more to tie the game and force overtime. DeBoer netted two more goals in the final frame to record a hat trick within the 20:00 span.

DeBoer's hat trick was AHA's fourth of November 2025.

In overtime, the Bobcats found the back of the net first off Andon Cerbone's second of the game at the 3:21 mark to take the contest 7-6.
