Holy Cross, Air Force and RIT earn sweeps. Robert Morris hits the 700-game milestone.

BOSTON - Three Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs earned sweeps on Saturday night, and Robert Morris hit a prominent milestone.

Friday marked the Colonials' and head coach Derek Schooley's 700th game at the Division I level. Schooley has been the Robert Morris head coach since the team's inaugural season in 2004-05.

Despite the landmark occasion, the Colonials dropped the second game of their series 0-3 to visiting independent program LIU.

Holy Cross earned its first regulation sweep of 2025-26, after it beat Niagara 6-2 in Worcester, Mass. Senior forward Michael Abgrall recorded a multi-goal game for the second time in 2025-26.

The Crusaders outscored the Purple Eagles 11-3 on the weekend, and remain unbeaten in their last five contests against AHA opponents.

RIT swept Mercyhurst with a 3-2 victory and now has its second-most (7) wins through Nov. 8 in program history. The Tigers have taken seven straight, tied for the sixth-longest streak ever by RIT.

Junior forward Christian Catalano scored in both games this weekend and tallied two points (1G-1A) in the sweeping win. Senior forward Austin Brimmer also tacked on two points (1G-1A).

Sophomore goaltender Jakub Krbecek made 20 saves on Saturday.

Air Force earned its second consecutive sweep, the first against an AHA opponent in 2025-26, taking down Sacred Heart 3-2 in Fairfield, Conn. Three different Falcons scored all three goals.

Junior defenseman Nolan Cunningham potted his second game-winner of the season at the 17:13 mark of the final frame to break the tie for good. Between the pipes, junior Dominik Wasik made a career-high 35 saves to win his fourth straight game.
