Penn State clinches the regular-season title, Mercyhurst earns a sweep. RIT and Lindenwood collect road victories.

BOSTON - No. 4/4 Penn State clinched its fourth consecutive Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) regular season title on Saturday for a fourth straight season.

All seven AHA programs competed in action, with three series being intra-conference and RIT playing against ECAC Hockey’s (RV) Brown.

DELAWARE VS. No. 4/4 PENN STATE
Penn State earned its Division I-leading 12th shutout of the 2025-26 campaign to clinch the AHA regular season crown.

The Nittany Lions’ senior goaltender Katie DeSa made 12 saves to earn her eighth shutout of the campaign, tied for the most in the nation.

Senior forward Tessa Janecke was the game’s only multi-goal scorer. Five Nittany Lions recorded multi-point efforts in the 7-0 win, including a four-point (1G-3A) showing from senior blueliner Kendall Butze.

ROBERT MORRIS VS. (RV) MERCYHURST
Mercyhurst fell behind 0-1, but found its groove 13:13 into the first when sophomore forward Julia Schalin knotted the score 1-1.

After that, the Lakers netted four straight goals with redshirt freshman Julia Perjus netting what would serve as the game-winner in the Lakers’ 5-1 sweep-clinching victory.

LINDENWOOD VS. SYRACUSE
Lindenwood split the series at Syracuse after a 4-0 shutout victory on the road.

All four Lindenwood goals came in the final frame, with senior forward Molly Henderson adding the contest’s first goal 12 seconds into the third period.

Henderson struck again on the power play at 17:44 in the period on the Lions’ fourth and final goal.

Senior netminder Lexington Secreto made 37 saves en route to her second shutout of the season.

RIT VS. BROWN
RIT also secured a 4-0 road win at Brown in the Tigers’ sole game of the week.

The Tigers scored twice in both the second and third periods. Each RIT goal was netted by a different Tiger.

Senior goaltender Sophia Bellina made 23 saves and recorded her third shutout of the year.
