AHA Men’s Final Frame (Jan. 24, 2026)

RIT and Bentley win shootouts, Robert Morris and Canisius sweep AHA series and Sacred Heart downs Yale.

BOSTON  - Eight Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) teams competed in action on Saturday, with three matchups completing conference series.

NIAGARA VS. (RV) RIT
In the opening frame, Niagara and RIT traded punches with the Purple Eagles netting the first two goals.

The Tigers struck back with two of their own in 17 seconds to make it a 2-2 contest heading into the first intermission.

Niagara took a temporary lead in the middle frame, and RIT scored regulation’s final goal and knotted it 3-3 to force overtime.

Neither program could pot one in overtime, and the game was decided in a shootout, with RIT winning 1-0.

HOLY CROSS VS. ROBERT MORRIS
Robert Morris clinched a sweep on its home ice with a 1-0 win over Holy Cross.

Junior forward Tanner Klimpke scored the Colonials ’ only goal 12:51 into the middle frame.

Sophomore netminder Lucas Massie recorded his second shutout of the season, making 33 saves against the Crusaders.

CANISIUS VS. MERCYHURST
Canisius cruised past Mercyhurst to earn a series sweep, with a 5-0 road victory.

Junior forward Walter Zacher scored twice, bringing his total to three during the Golden Griffins' trip to Erie, Pa.

Senior goaltender Chase Clark made 20 saves and earned his first shutout of the 2025-26 campaign.

PRINCETON VS. BENTLEY
ECAC Hockey’s Princeton held a 2-1 lead heading into the final minute of regulation on Saturday night in Waltham, Mass.

Senior forward Jake Black gave the Falcons life as he potted the game-tying goal 19:28 into the third.

The pair of teams did not score in overtime, which led to a shootout that Bentley won 3-2.

SACRED HEART VS. YALE
Thanks to a two-goal third period, Sacred Heart finished the 2026 CT Ice Tournament with a 3-2 victory over ECAC Hockey’s Yale.

Senior blueliner Mikey Adamson added the eventual game-winner 11:31 into the final frame.
