BOSTON - All 10 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed in league action on Friday.

(RV) BENTLEY VS. ROBERT MORRIS
Senior forward Jake Black netted his first hat trick in a Falcons’ uniform, including the game’s first two goals. Bentley sophomore goaltender Nicholas Bevilacqua made 24 saves in the shutout road victory.

(RV) RIT VS. MERCYHURST
RIT took a 1-0 lead in the second period, but in the same 20:00 session, Mercyhurst tacked on two to take a 2-1 lead. The Tigers were able to find the back of the net and force overtime with regulation (and the contest’s) final goal 11:09 into the third period.

Neither program scored in the 5:00 overtime, and RIT ultimately won the shootout 2-0.

ARMY WEST POINT VS. HOLY CROSS
Holy Cross senior forward Matt DeBoer recorded his third multi-goal game, as he scored on a power play and an empty netter in regulation’s final minute.

Crusaders’ freshman netminder Danick Leroux made 33 saves in his second shutout of the campaign. The Crusaders split the series with the visiting Black Knights after suffering a loss on Thursday night.

NIAGARA VS. CANISIUS
The Purple Eagles scored three of a collective five goals in the opening period.

In the middle frame, Canisius tied it 3-3, but never took the lead. In the third period, Niagara took the lead 9:00 into the final 20:00 and then added an empty net goal to cement a 5-3 victory.  

SACRED HEART VS. AIR FORCE
Sacred Heart senior forward Felix Trudeau opened the game’s scoring with a goal, and the Crusaders netted two of the game’s first three.

Air Force responded down 1-2 by scoring four straight goals, with three occurring in the third period. The Falcons took game one 5-2.
