AHA Men’s Final Frame (Jan. 4, 2026)

RIT falls in the finale of a home-and-home series at Penn State.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - After claiming a 1-0 victory in Rochester, N.Y., RIT traveled to Pegula Ice Arena on the campus of No. 8/9 Penn State looking to complete a sweep and upset the Nittany Lions for a second consecutive evening.

Into the first intermission, the pair of teams were even on the scoreboard 1-1.

Penn State found a rhythm in the second period, striking twice and carrying the momentum into the third period to extend a lead to three goals.

The visiting Tigers were able to tack on two in the third period, but they could not outmatch the home squad’s four-goal final frame.

Junior defenseman Ben Roger scored two of RIT’s three goals.
