AHA FORWARD OF THE WEEK
Maddy Christian, Jr., F, Penn State

Maddy Christian tallied five points on three goals and two assists to lead Penn State to a pair of wins over Syracuse this past weekend. In Thursday's 3-2 overtime win, Christian tied the game with a goal at 14:17 of the 3rd period. She then assisted on
Brianna Brooks' game-winning goal in overtime. Then on Friday, Christian scored two goals and dished out an assist in Penn State's 5-2 win. Both of her goals came on the power play. The Elk River, Minn. is riding a three-game goal streak, and has multiple points in three straight games. On the season, Christian is up to seven goals and five assists for 12 points. Her seven goals lead the AHA and are tied for 13th nationally, while her 12 points are tied for second in the AHA.
AHA DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Lyndie Lobdell, Gr., D, Penn State

Lyndie Lobdell continued her strong season by assisting on three Nittany Lion goals in their two-game series vs. Syracuse. Lobdell blocked a season-high five shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win, then dished out three assists in Friday's 5-2 win. It was Lobdell's fourth multi-point game of the season, and her second three-assist game of the year. The Aurora, Ill. native is now up to two goals and nine assists for 11 points in 2024-25. Her nine assists are tied for the AHA lead, and ranks tied for 13th in the nation. This is Lobdell's third AHA Defenseman of the Week honor this season, with the previous two coming on Oct. 14 and Oct. 28. Lobdell was also named AHA Defenseman of the Month for Sept/.Oct.
AHA GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Anna LaRose, Sr., G, Lindenwood

Anna LaRose put together a solid weekend between the pipes for the Lions. In total, LaRose turned aside 75-of-78 Mercyhurst shots, good for a save percentage of .962 and goals-against average of 1.52. After making 33 saves on 35 shots in defeat on Friday, LaRose led the Lions to their first win of the season by stopping 42-of-43 shots in a 2-1 victory for Lindenwood. The 42 saves were a season-high for the Albertville, Minn. native. LaRose's 28.67 saves per game ranks fourth in Atlantic Hockey, and her 172 saves ranks fifth.
AHA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kailey Favro, Fr., F, RIT
RIT's
Kailey Favro scored a pair of goals, including the first of her collegiate career, in Saturday's 5-1 win over Robert Morris. Favro scored the first two goals of the game for the Tigers, finding the back of the net at 11:01 of the 2nd period and then again at 3:53 of the 3rd period. Her 3rd period tally proved to be the game-winner. In addition, the Danville, Calif. native won 10-of-16 draws, blocked two shots, and fired a season-high six shots on goal in the win. It was the second multi-point game of the season for Favro, who picked up two assists on Sept. 27 vs. Assumption.
