AHA Women's Final Frame (Oct. 10, 2025)

Nittany Lions spoil Blue Hens' inaugural AHA game, and Lions pick up their first win.

BOSTON - Friday night featured the first Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) matchups in 2025-26, including Delaware's first-ever conference matchup against No. 6/6 Penn State.

The Nittany Lions did not look back after sophomore forward Grace Outwater scored the opening goal, and the first of her second career hat trick, 5:04 into the first period. Penn State opened its AHA schedule with a 5-0 shutout victory, the second of the season for senior netminder Katie DeSa.

The visiting Nittany Lions outshot the Blue Hens 56-10.

Lindenwood earned its first win of the season, topping Hockey East's Merrimack 6-3 on its home ice. Freshman forward Tatiana Blichova tallied three points in the effort (2G-1A), recording the first two goals of the Presov, Slovakia native's collegiate career.

Robert Morris is 1-0-0 in conference play as it beat RIT in overtime behind a game-winner from sophomore forward Jessica MacKinnon.

Outwater and MacKinnon are tied for the conference lead in points (7).

Syracuse fell 0-3 to No. 7/7 Quinnipiac of ECAC Hockey in Syracuse, N.Y.
