AHA Women's Final Frame (Oct. 31, 2025)

Blue Hens test the Lakers in their first road game, Nittany Lions stay hot and the Lions conquer the Tigers in Rochester, N.Y.

BOSTON - Three Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) series began on a Halloween Friday to close October.

In a campaign of countless firsts, Delaware played in its inaugural road game against (RV) Mercyhurst. The Lakers were the only AHA program to win a home game on Friday.

The Lakers held a 2-1 lead 14:36 into the second period. There was no scoring in the contest until 19:57 into the final period, with only three seconds remaining in the matchup when freshman defenseman Lexie Lonask netted one to force overtime.

Despite the clutch effort in regulation, Mercyhurst's senior forward Sophie McKinley found the back of the net for her first game-winner as a Laker. Delaware earned one point in its first road contest, but Mercyhurst came out on top 3-2.

Delaware's junior goaltender Mattie Robitzer made 63 saves, the second most in a single game this season, surpassing her 62 on Oct. 11. Lakers' sophomore Magdalena Luggin made 12 saves on Friday.

No. 6/6 Penn State earned a shutout and downed Robert Morris 4-0, remaining undefeated thanks to senior forward Tessa Janecke, who extends her point streak to nine games after recording two (1G-1A).

Senior goaltender Katie DeSa made 15 saves and earned her fourth shutout in 2025-26, the second most in Division I.

Lindenwood found itself in the win column on the road for the first time in 2025-26, as it simultaneously earned its first shutout victory of the campaign. The Lions took down RIT 3-0, with junior forward Zsofia Pazmandi (2A) and senior forward Molly Henderson (1G-1A) each recording two points in the effort.

Sophomore goaltender Madison Bowtell secured her first collegiate shutout, making 39 saves in the game. The win is Lindenwood's first conference win this fall.
