BOSTON - All seven Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs were back to compete this weekend, with all three home teams taking victories in conference matchups.
No. 6/6 Penn State senior Katie DeSa made 14 saves and recorded her sixth shutout of 2025-26, the most in Division I. The Nittany Lions picked up from where they left off before the bye week as they topped visiting Syracuse 7-0.
Different skaters netted all seven goals, and four of the goal scorers added assists and recorded multi-point games. The Nittany Lions will attempt to stay undefeated and take their seventh consecutive series sweep on Saturday.
On their home ice, the Blue Hens took down Lindenwood 5-3 to record the program's first-ever AHA victory. Senior forward Kaitlin Finnegan scored twice in the effort, and freshman forward Kacey Blum's first collegiate goal also served as the game-winner.
(RV) Mercyhurst snuck by with a narrow 1-0 win against RIT at home in Erie, Pa. Sophomore goaltender Magdalena Luggin stopped all 24 shots she faced and earned her second shutout this season.
Sophomore forward Regina Metzler gave the Lakers a permanent lead with the contest's only goal in the first period.
Robert Morris fell to ECAC Hockey's RPI 0-1 in Moon Township, Pa. Redshirt junior Maggie Hatch made 24 saves in the contest, and the Colonials put 38 shots on net.
