BOSTON - All seven Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed on Saturday to close out Thanksgiving week and the month of November.
Syracuse was the sole AHA team to complete a weekend sweep as it completed the two-game home-and-home series with a 3-0 win over RPI in Troy, N.Y.
Freshman forward Emma Gnade netted a hat trick, scoring all three Orange goals in the effort. This was only the third hat trick of the season and second of November in AHA.
Freshman goaltender Ava Drabyk made 17 saves in her second shutout of the season.
No. 4/4 Penn State came back strong with a 4-1 win after suffering its first loss on Friday to No. 7/7 Northeastern. Four different Nittany Lions scored in the victory, and four recorded multi-point games.
Senior goaltender Katie DeSa made 29 saves in the game.
Lindenwood took Bemidji State to overtime and outlasted it into a shootout after the two teams tied 2-2. The Lions ultimately took a shootout win over the Beavers.
Junior forward Zsofia Pazmandi scored twice in the game.
After being held to only one goal on Friday, (RV) RIT exploded for six in a 6-3 victory on its home ice over Robert Morris. Junior defenseman Emma Pickering had four assists against the Colonials.
(RV) Mercyhurst fell 1-5 to No. 1/1 Wisconsin in Nashville, Tenn.
Delaware was shutout for a second consecutive game, falling 0-3 at Union.
