RIT upsets Colgate to split the non-conference series. Mercyhurst cruises behind an offensive surge, Lindenwood takes game two and Delaware falls in its first contest of the weekend.

BOSTON - Three weekend series concluded on Saturday, including a statement victory for RIT, while Delaware faced its first of two games at No. 15/15 Brown in ECAC Hockey.

After dropping the first game against ECAC Hockey's No. 13/12 Colgate, the Tigers managed to pull off a 3-1 win after they found themselves in a 0-1 hole only 0:33 seconds into the first period. It was not until 6:42 into the second period that freshman forward Tilli Keraenen potted one to tie things 1-1.

Into the second intermission, the score was tied 1-1. Sophomore forward Ireland Stein found the back of the net for the second time in the series to net her second game-winner of the season. Junior forward Linda Rulle hit the empty net to beat a ranked opponent for the second time this season.

Senior netminder Sophia Bellina made 36 saves in the game, the second-most of her campaign.

Lindenwood split the series, winning 4-1 over Syracuse after finding an offensive groove this afternoon.

Freshman forward Tatiana Blichova had the second three-pointer (2G-1A) this season. Including Blichova, the three Lions had multi-point games. Michaela Paulinyova also tallied three (1G-2A) in the effort, the first of her career.

Sophomore goaltender Madison Bowtell stopped 26 shots on net in the win.

(RV) Mercyhurst had its largest goal differential victory of the season (5) as it topped Robert Morris 7-2 in Moon Township, Pa. Sophomore blueliner Abby Poitras recorded a career high three points (3A) a day after she added two helpers.

Freshman forward Kate Donegan scored her first career goal 6:53 into the first period and then added another one to the board at the 18:35 mark of the same period.

Delaware was shutout 0-3 in the first of two games at Brown. The second game is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 9.
