Delaware provided a top-15 opponent with a scare and forced overtime.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Delaware was the sole Atlantic Hockey America program to compete on Sunday, as it played in the series finale at No. 15/15 Brown.

The Blue Hens fell 3-2 in overtime to the Bears out of ECAC Hockey. In the opening period, Brown scored twice within the last two minutes, just 58 seconds apart, to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.

Delaware's senior co-captain and defenseman, Tiana McIntyre, netted her first career goal to bring the Blue Hens within one at the 5:31 mark in the middle frame.

Freshman forward Katelynn Charlton brought Delaware back to life 15:05 into the second by scoring her fourth goal of 2025-26, to make it a 2-2 game into the final 20 minutes.

Neither program could find the back of the net in the third period, forcing the game into overtime.

Delaware had the opportunity to end the game with one score. However, senior forward India McDadi closed the contest out with a goal 1:05 into overtime, giving Brown the victory.

Freshman netminder Charlotte Payne made 51 saves, her third game this season with 50 or more, tying her with junior fellow Blue Hen Mattie Robitzer for second-most in Division I in 2025-26.
