- It was a busy 1st period, as three total goals were scored in the opening frame. Holy Cross' Matthew Kursonis opened the scoring with a goal at 1:49, and Army's Mac Gadowsky would even the score at 14:43. Devin Phillips gave Holy Cross a 2-1 lead with a power play goal at 17:10.
- Barron Woodring would tie the game 2-2 with a power play goal of his own at 10:20 of the 2nd period.
- After a scoreless 3rd period, the game went to overtime where Phillips potted his second goal of the game at 3:15 of the extra frame. Jack Stockfish and Brody Gagno assisted on Phillips' game-winner.
- Thomas Gale made a season-high 45 saves on 47 shots (.957 save percentage) to lead the Crusaders to victory. Army's JJ Cataldo made 36 saves on 39 shots (.923 save percentage) for the Black Knights.
- With a goal and an assist, Gadowsky extended his point total on the season to 42, which leads all defensemen in the country. His 16 goals also lead the country among blueliners.

- Sacred Heart took a 2-0 lead on a pair of 1st period goals from John Jaworski and Mikey Adamson. Bentley then rallied for five consecutive goals en route to a 5-2 victory in Game 1.
- Oskar Bakkevig and Nik Armstrong-Kingkade scored power play goals in the 2nd period to even the game up 2-2.
- A.J. Hodges then took over, as he potted a natural hat trick in the final frame with goals at 8:51, 10:40, and an empty netter at 19:46 to seal the win. Hodges also had an assist on Armstrong-Kingkade's 2nd period tally, giving him a four-point night.
- Bentley goaltender Connor Hasley made 20 saves on 22 shots (.909 save percentage) to earn the win between the pipes. SHU goaltender Ajeet Gundarah made 30 saves in net for the Pios.
- Bentley went 2-for-6 on the power play while SHU went 0-for-1.
