AHA Women's Final Frame (Sept. 20, 2025)

BOSTON - A pair of Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) teams, Mercyhurst and Lindenwood, closed out their season-opening series on Saturday.

The Lakers again provided a threat to #6/5 Minnesota Duluth at Mercyhurst Ice Center as they scored first and had a lead on the Bulldogs twice. However, the Bulldogs were able to break the tie in the second and score three consecutive goals to top Mercyhurst 5-3. Redshirt freshman forward Julia Perjus tallied three points (2G-1A) and scored AHA's first power play goal of the season.

The Lions fell 0-5 to #13/13 St. Cloud State for a second straight game at Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn.

AHA action is back with three teams playing in nonconference contests on Thursday, Sept. 25. All seven women's programs will compete on Friday, Sept. 26.
