BOSTON, Mass. / Zürich, Switzerland – Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) and 49ing AG today announced a partnership that will bring the company’s AI-powered video and data platform to the conference’s league office and to every men’s and women’s program. The agreement covers officiating management, marketing and content, live game analysis, automated game breakdowns, and more, giving AHA a single technology partner across its officiating and fan-engagement operations.
For Atlantic Hockey America, the agreement places the conference among a growing group of forward-thinking Division I leagues investing in technology to support their programs, officials, and fans. For 49ing, it marks a third major NCAA Division I conference partnership — following Hockey East and ECAC Hockey — and a shared step toward a more connected, technology-driven future for college hockey across North America.
Through the agreement, 49ing’s Hockey AI platform will support AHA with centralized officiating review and supervisor tools, automated video tagging and instant clip access, real-time game insights, AI-generated highlights, and data-driven storytelling for fan engagement. The platform is designed to streamline day-to-day workflows for league administrators, officiating coordinators, coaches, and communications staff alike.
Formed in 2024 through the merger of the Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America, Atlantic Hockey America competes in NCAA Division I as an ice hockey–only conference fielding both men’s and women’s programs. The partnership will roll out across the full membership on both sides of the conference.
