BOSTON - Six Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed in intra-conference games on Friday.
Two programs took wins on the road, and Lindenwood escaped Delaware with a 3-2 victory on its home ice.
(RV) MERCYHURST VS. RIT
The Lakers got off to an early 1-0 lead just 26 seconds into the game as junior forward
Sofia Nuutinen netted her first of two goals.
Mercyhurst broke the tie with a goal halfway through the second, the first of three straight for the visitors.
Despite a late RIT goal in the game’s final minute of regulation, the Lakers were able to leave game one of the series 5-3.
PENN STATE VS. RIT
Penn State netted the contest’s first two goals through the first two periods. Four different Nittany Lions scored in the matchup.
Freshman goaltender
Maddy Campbell made 13 saves in the win.
DELAWARE VS. LINDENWOOD
Delaware opened the game’s scoring, but Lindenwood senior forward
Molly Henderson scored her first career hat trick as she netted a goal in all three periods.

Lexington Secreto made 17 saves in the effort.
