BOSTON - Six Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed in intra-conference series finales on Saturday.

Three programs earned sweeps, with (RV) Mercyhurst and No. 4/4 Penn State doing so on the road.

NO. 4/4 PENN STATE VS. DELAWARE
Despite falling behind early in the first period, Penn State was able to tack on two goals through the game’s first 12 minutes and held a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.

Senior defenseman Maya D’Arcy was able to add another and tie the game 2-2 for Syracuse. However, nearly 10:00 later, senior forward Tessa Janecke gave the Nittany Lions the lead back for good to cement a 3-2 victory and sweep for the visitors.

(RV) MERCYHURST VS. RIT
Both goals in regulation came in the first 15:00 of the opening period. The Lakers scored first, and RIT knotted the score before the first intermission.

The contest’s next goal was not until 1:39 into overtime when sophomore blueliner Abby Poitras netted the game-winner to earn a sweep for Mercyhurst.

The game featured stellar goaltending from RIT sophomore Brenna McNamara, who made 37 saves, and Mercyhurst sophomore Magdalena Luggin, who made 21 saves.


DELAWARE VS. LINDENWOOD
For a second consecutive day, a Lindenwood skater recorded a hat trick. Freshman forward Tatiana Blichova scored two in the first period and added an empty net goal in the final frame.

Junior forward Zsofia Pazmandi also netted two goals in the effort to help Lindenwood take a 6-3 victory over the Blue Hens and earn its first sweep at home since 2024.
