ITHACA, N.Y. - No. 4/4 Penn State closed out its non-conference schedule with a visit to ECAC Hockey’s No. 12/11 Cornell on Tuesday, ahead of its remaining schedule of Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) contests.
The Nittany Lions got on the board first, as senior forward
Tessa Janecke netted one at the 10:44 mark of the first period.
The Big Red added their only goal of the game 1:27 into the middle frame, and then the visiting AHA program netted four straight.
Three of Penn State’s five goals came in the final frame, with all coming off the stick of different skaters.

Maddy Christian (1G-1A), tallied multi-point efforts.
