AHA Women’s Final Frame (Jan. 23, 2026)

All three AHA wins come on home ice, and Jeff Kampersal earns 500 career victories.

BOSTON - Six Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs competed on Friday, with all three hosting teams taking victories on home ice.

DELAWARE VS. NO. 4/4 PENN STATE
Penn State head coach Jeff Kampersal earned his 500th career victory with a 5-0 shutout victory over Delaware.

Now in his 30th season as a head coach, Kampersal is the fourth active coach with 500+ wins and joins Mercyhurst’s Mike Sisti (607) among AHA coaches to reach the milestone.

The Nittany Lions potted four of their five goals in the third period and earned their Division I-leading 11th shutout of 2025-26.

Freshman netminder Maddy Campbell made seven saves in the win.

ROBERT MORRIS VS. (RV) MERCYHURST
Mercyhurst took a 2-0 lead early in the second period and held it through the final minute of regulation as Robert Morris only added one goal on the board.

Junior forward Sofia Nuutinen netted the first two Laker goals.

Sophomore goaltender Magdalena Luggin made 30 saves in the effort.
