Robert Morris’s Hatch tabbed as HCA Co-Goalie of the Month for December

The Colonials’ redshirt junior was honored after recording three shutouts in December.

BOSTON - Robert Morris redshirt junior goaltender Maggie Hatch was named Co-Goalie of the Month by the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) for her performance between the pipes during December 2025.

The reigning AHA Goaltender of the Month appeared in four games for the Colonials in 2025’s final month and posted a 3-0-1 record.

The Cleveland Heights, Ohio native recorded three shutouts and only allowed two goals on 136 shots faced over the four-game span. Hatch was the sole netminder at the collegiate level to have multiple shutouts in December. The Colonials’ goaltender also recorded a season high in saves with 42 in a 2-2 tie on Dec. 6 at Syracuse.

Last month, among Division I netminders (min. 2 GP), Hatch led the nation with a .985 save percentage and a 0.49 goals-against average.

Of the two goals that Hatch allowed, only one was on the power play.
