AHA Women’s Final Frame (Jan. 8, 2026)

Tigers secure a regulation win in the third period’s final minute.

BOSTON - A pair of Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs faced off on Thursday night as RIT visited Delaware.

The visiting Tigers opened the game’s scoring with the only goal of the first period off the stick of senior forward Jaidan Fahrny.

RIT’s lead held for more than half of the middle frame, but freshman forward Francesca Barresi netted two within two minutes to give the Blue Hens a 2-1 lead.

Freshman blueliner Lily Andreassi evened the score 2-2 11:52 into the final frame. The contest was looking to head into overtime, but freshman forward Tilli Keranen had other ideas as she netted the game-winning goal with only 57 seconds remaining in regulation.

Delaware freshman goaltender Charlotte Payne made 37 saves in the effort, and RIT senior Sophia Bellina stopped 18 shots put on net by the Blue Hens.
