AHA’s postseason begins with a single game in Greater St. Louis.

BOSTON - The 2026 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Women’s Postseason has arrived, with three contests set to take place between Thursday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 21.

WEEK ONE MATCHUPS (FULL BRACKET)
First Round (Thursday, Feb. 19)
  • No. 7 Delaware vs. No. 6 Robert Morris (Hosted by No. 3 Lindenwood - St. Charles, Mo.)

Quarterfinal (Saturday, Feb. 21)
  • Winner of the First Round game at No. 3 Lindenwood (St. Charles, Mo.)
  • No. 5 Syracuse at No. 4 RIT (Rochester, N.Y.)

AROUND AHA
  • Penn State senior forward Tessa Janecke is the leading active point getter in AHA’s postseason, with 12 (7G-5A) in nine games played between 2022-25.
  • Janekce (USA) and Syracuse head coach Britni Smith (Canada) are set to face off Thursday in the Winter Olympics Gold Medal Game.
  • The Nittany Lions enter the postseason having won the conference tournament for the past three consecutive seasons.
  • RIT has a pair of sophomore forwards that averaged a point per game in the 2025 AHA Postseason. Both have tallied three points after skating in three contests. Sophomore forward Kailey Favro (2G-1A) and Brac Kelley (3A).

QUICK HITS
  • Blue Hens’ freshman defenseman Lexie Lonask finished the regular season with the nation’s most blocks (136).
  • Robert Morris sophomore forward Jessica MacKinnon led Division I with 493 faceoff wins.
  • Syracuse’s Ava Drabyk led all freshmen netminders across the nation with five shutouts.
  • Delaware is set to make its first appearance in the AHA playoff bracket after finishing its inaugural campaign at the Division I level.
  • Mercyhurst freshman blueliner Holly VanNetten has netted a goal in three straight contests, tied for the second-longest active streak in AHA.

ON THE PROWL
RIT finished the 2025-26 regular season with 36 power play goals, the most in the nation. The Tigers are operating at a 32.1 percent success rate, the second-highest in Division I.

Additionally, RIT’s six power play goals on Sept. 27 vs. Post are the most in a single game by any team in the nation this season. The Tigers are one of three teams in the country to have 10 or more contests this season with two or more power play goals.

MANE EVENT
For the first time in program history, Lindenwood is set to host an AHA Postseason contest on its home ice in St. Charles, Mo.

The No. 3-seeded Lions will take on the winner of No. 7 Delaware vs. No. 6 Robert Morris on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Centene Community Ice Center.

Lindenwood posted 13 wins in the regular season, the most it has ever recorded in a single campaign, and only the third time as a Division I team it has recorded double-digit wins.
