No. 3 Lindenwood and No. 5 Syracuse advance to AHA Semifinals.

BOSTON - The Quarterfinal round of the 2026 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Postseason tournament took place on Saturday, with the final four bracket set for the semifinals.

NO. 6 ROBERT MORRIS VS. NO. 3 LINDENWOOD
In its first-ever home AHA postseason game on home ice, Lindenwood struck the game’s first goal and took a 1-0 lead in the second period. The Lions added one more in the middle frame, and allowed one to Robert Morris, who had the game tied 1-1 at the time of its sole goal.

Sophomore forward Silje Gundersen netted the eventual game-winner late in the second period. Freshman forward Michaela Paulinyova sealed the game for Lindenwood with a goal 17:57 into the third period.
Sophomore goaltender Madison Bowtell made 31 saves in the win. This was the Lions’ first postseason win since 2017.

NO. 5  SYRACUSE VS. NO. 4 RIT
Syracuse managed to take an early lead on the road and held it for the majority of the game until RIT tied things up at 3-3 9:04 into the final frame.

The Tigers scored twice in less than a minute to climb back from a two-goal deficit. One overtime was not enough, and the game went into a second extra period.

Freshman forward Emma Gnade played hero for the Orange and scored the 4-3 game-winning goal 3:24 into the second overtime to advance to the Quarterfinal round and face No. 1 Penn State. Sophomore forward Peyton Armstrong scored two goals for Syracuse.
