TEAM NOTES
 

DELAWARE
• Delaware’s shootout win Friday at Holy Cross was made possible by freshman Morgan Link (Northbrook, Ill.) deflecting in the game-tying goal with 13.7 seconds remaining in the third period. Classmate Lily Myers (Crystal Lake, Ill.) scored the only goal in the shootout after a scoreless overtime.
• Sophomore Charlotte Payne (Oakville, Ont.) stopped 33 of 34 shots in the game and all three Holy Cross shootout attempts.
• Delaware will introduce a secondary winged helmet this weekend vs. Lindenwood patterned after those worn by the Fightin’ Blue Hens football team since 1951.

LINDENWOOD
• Lindenwood, which scored three goals in a 57-second span of its second game of the season, scored twice 53 seconds apart in game three at Merrimack last Thursday. Freshman Raquel McCormack (West Bend, Wis.) and sophomore Tatiana Blichova (Presov, Slovakia) each scored their second goals of the season, both coming in the first 4:26 of the game.
• Sophomore Michaela Paulinyova (Bratislava, Slovakia) leads the nation with 19 shots on goal through four games.

MERCYHURST
• The Lakers are 29-7-4 all-time at home against Syracuse, including a 9-2-2 record in the last 13 meetings.
• Minnesota Duluth posted two shutout wins against the Lakers, the first time one opponent blanked Mercyhurst twice in a weekend since Colgate did so Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2022.

PENN STATE
• Junior forwards Grace Outwater (Picton, Ont.) and Abby Stonehouse (Blenheim, Ont.) are among only 14 current college players invited to take part in Hockey Canada’s 2026-27 National Team Training Camp. The camp will take place Oct. 7–15 in Quebec City, Quebec, and will determine Canada’s roster for the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Herning, Denmark, from Nov. 6–16.
• AHA Rookie of the Week Morgan Stickney (St. Charles, Mo.) made 44 saves in Penn State’s season opening 2-1 overtime loss to Ohio State.

RIT
• Senior Addie Alvarez (Rochester, N.Y.) scored goals in both games at #9/9 Clarkson, giving her 25 goals for her career. Her 86 career points trail only Mercyhurst’s Sofia Nuutinen (Vantaa, Finland) among active AHA players.
• Preseason all-conference defenseman Emma Pickering (Fishers, Ind.) did not play in the Tigers’ series at Clarkson.

ROBERT MORRIS
• Captain Alaina Giampietro’s (Strongsville, Ohio) four-point game in the opening night win marked a career high.
• Alternate captain Catriona Crarer (Pickering, Ont.) skated in her 100th career game Saturday. She’s produced 10 goals and 20 assists for the Colonials.
• Junior Greta Brezenski (Waunakee, Wis.) is currently tied for the national lead in goals (four, with Wisconsin’s Kelly Gorbatenko) and points (six, with St. Cloud State’s Alice Sauriol). Her natural hat trick in the season opener was just the fifth all-time for the Colonials and her six points on the weekend surpassed her totals in her first two years with Clarkson (3-2–5, 52 GP).

SYRACUSE
• Senior Jackson Kinsler (Madison, Wis.), who played her 100th career game Friday against Stonehill, recorded her second career two-goal game in Saturday’s win.
• Junior defenseman Jessica Cheung (Ottawa, Ont.) scored a power-play goal in each game last weekend, fueling a 22.2% Orange PP. Syracuse was sixth in the conference last year at 12.4% on the power play.
• Sophomore Ava Drabyk (Saskatoon, Sask.) opened the season with a 96-minute shutout streak. Last season she set the AHA record for longest shutout streak at 253:24.
