FORWARD OF THE WEEK

The Blainville, Quebec native's first collegiate point was also the game-winning goal in the Pioneers' 1-0 victory against the Tigers in Rochester, N.Y. on Friday, Oct. 10.

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound forward had his first multi-point game at the Division I level, where he tallied two points (1G-1A) in Sacred Heart's 6-1 win to earn a season-opening sweep.

DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Brockhoff recorded two points (1G-1A) this weekend. Both came in his second career multi-point game, a 5-2 victory to sweep then-(RV) Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The Edberg, Alberta native was tied for the conference lead at plus-4 last weekend, and also blocked three shots. The 6-foot-1, 207-pound blueliner also netted his third career goal on his second shot of the season (first of the game).

This is the first Defenseman of the Week award in Brockhoff's career.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Cataldo earns his second AHA Goaltender of the Week award after he was crucial in the Black Knights' two wins over then-RV Northeastern and Stonehill.

The Stuart, Fla. native made 71 saves and allowed only two goals on the 73 shots he faced. Cataldo's 71 saves were the second-most in AHA and the third-most in the nation.

The 6-foot, 183-pound netminder stopped 40 of the 41 shots he faced in Oct. 12's 6-1 victory over Stonehill to help Army West Point remain unbeaten.

Cataldo's 1.00 goals against average and his .973 save percentage were both second in AHA.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Muranov was tied for second nationally and first in AHA with three goals last week. Additionally, he was tied for the points lead in AHA and tied for fifth nationally.

The Moskva, Russia native is the first Niagara freshman to have three goals through their first three collegiate games since Ted Cook in 2005-06.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward netted a game-winner against then-(RV) Bowling Green on Friday, Oct. 10. Muranov has played a critical role in Niagara's first-ever 3-0 start and is the first Purple Eagle to win AHA Rookie of the Week since Trevor Hoskin on Jan. 27, 2025.
