BOSTON - Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced its men’s conference schedule for the 2026-27 campaign on Wednesday.
The league calendar begins with a home-and-home series on Oct. 2-3 between RIT and Niagara and concludes with all nine AHA programs competing on Feb. 25-27. Each team is scheduled to play 24 league games during the upcoming campaign.
BENTLEY IS BACK
AHA’s defending regular season and postseason champion, Bentley, begins its journey to defend its titles the weekend of Oct. 23-24 when Robert Morris travels to Waltham, Mass., for two games.
CHAMPIONSHIP REMATCH
Bentley took down Sacred Heart in the 2026 AHA Championship, and the two teams will meet once again at Bentley Arena in a two-game series after the calendar flips to 2027 on Jan. 15-16.
SERVICE ACADEMY SHOWDOWN
The two service academies, Air Force and Army West Point, will clash in a two-game series on two separate occasions in 2026-27. The Black Knights will travel to the Falcons in the first meeting of the season on Nov. 6-7.
Army West Point will then host Air Force the weekend of Feb. 19-20. The Falcons took the series in 2025-26, going 2-1-1 over the Black Knights.
2027 AHA POSTSEASON
The chase for the Jack Riley Trophy will include all nine Atlantic Hockey America teams. The 2027 Atlantic Hockey America Postseason will open with a single-game first-round matchup on March 2, with the No. 8 seed hosting the No. 9 seed.
A best-of-three quarterfinal round will take place March 5-7, hosted by the higher seeds. The semifinal best-of-three series will take place March 12-14, with the highest remaining seed hosting the lowest, and the second-highest hosting the third-highest.
The postseason will conclude on March 20, when the two semifinal winners meet at the home of the higher-seeded semifinalist for one game to determine AHA’s 2027 postseason champion. The winner of the AHA postseason tournament will claim the conference's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament.
