  • Between 2008-10, Army West Point's Owen Meyer and RIT's Dan Ringwald each scored 6 points (3G-3A) over two games, tying for the most points on Oct. 31 in AHA history.
  • RIT forward Caleb Elfering recorded four points (1G-3A), tied for the most among freshmen in Division I last week.
  • In the AHA era (since 2003-04), no Canisius skater has had more than senior forward Grant Porter's 11 points (4G-7A) or junior forward Walter Zacher's six goals in October (both 9GP).

KILLER INSTINCTS
RIT is one of five teams in the nation to allow one or fewer power play goals. Operating at a success rate of 94.10 percent, they hold the third-highest penalty kill across Division I.

The Tigers play a non-AHA opponent when they visit Colgate this weekend. They are one of two AHA teams (Army West Point) and five teams nationally that have not allowed a goal to nonconference opponents in 2025-26.

WINGING IT
The reigning AHA postseason champions started conference play where it left off in March, sweeping then-(RV) Canisius in its two-game series last weekend. The Falcons outscored the Golden Griffins 7-1 and earned their first shutout victory (3-0) on Saturday, Oct. 25.

This is Bentley's third 2-0 start to conference play in AHA history (since 2003-04), the first time since 2011-12.

Since 2003-04, no Falcon goaltender (min. 2 GP) has recorded a better goals-against average (0.50) and save percentage (.980) than sophomore Nicholas Bevilacqua in October.
