AHA points are on the line as three conference series take place this week.

BOSTON - Six Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) programs compete in three two-game series beginning Friday this week.

No. 6/6 Penn State is the nation's only undefeated program. The Nittany Lions enter the weekend with a 14-game win streak, owning a 14-0-0 record, including a 10-0-0 mark in AHA play.

MATCHUPS

Nov. 21/22 (Friday/Saturday)
  • No. 6/6 Penn State at (RV) RIT
  • (RV) Mercyhurst at Syracuse
  • Robert Morris at Lindenwood

AROUND AHA
  • Lindenwood freshman forward Michaela Paulinyova is on a four-game point streak, the second-longest active streak among AHA skaters.
  • Heading into a bye week, Delaware's 692 saves lead the nation.
  • Among AHA freshmen goaltenders (min. 5 GP), Syracuse's Ava Drabyk leads the conference with a 3.07 goals-against average.
  • Syracuse sophomore forward Peyton Armstrong is tied for the most AHA points on the road with nine (3G-6A).
  • Robert Morris's redshirt sophomore forward Taylor Storey leads the team with three points (2G-1A) over the Colonials' last three games.

QUICK HITS
  • Not only does Penn State hold the nation's only undefeated streak, but it is the only program with an active winning streak of 10 games or more.
  • The Nittany Lions' Danica Maynard leads all Division I freshmen blueliners this season with 17 points (4G-13A).
  • Merychurst and Penn State are two of four teams in the nation that have allowed under 1.0 goals per game since Nov. 1.
  • Since Nov. 1, RIT senior Sophia Bellina's .952 save percentage is the fourth-highest among Division I goaltenders (min. 4 GP).

LIFE ON THE LAKE
Mercyhurst head coach Mike Sisti is on the brink of reaching a coaching milestone that few people see in Division I collegiate hockey.

The 27-year Lakers' head coach enters the weekend with 598 wins and is on pace to become the second active Division I women's head coach with 600 career wins.

The Lakers have been rolling as of late, racking up five victories since Oct. 25, tied for third-most in the nation (and AHA). In that same span, Sisti's squad has scored 23 goals and allowed only 10.

ROARING AHEAD
Penn State and RIT each have potted 17 power play goals this season, tied for the most in Division I.

The Nittany Lions' pair of senior forwards, Tessa Janecke and Katelyn Roberts, is each tied for the AHA lead at four power play goals. Tigers' freshman defenseman Riley Gramlich leads her team with three on the man advantage in 2025-26.

The Tigers' 17 goals tie their total from the 2023-24 campaign and are more than they scored in 2021-22 and 2022-23. RIT is halfway to its 2024-25 total of 34 power play goals.
