AHA Men’s Final Frame (Dec. 29, 2025)

Tigers make a late push, but suffer a non-conference road loss at Clarkson.

POTSDAM, N.Y. - RIT finished the 2025 portion of its schedule nearly 200 miles away from its home rink at ECAC Hockey’s Clarkson.

The Tigers struck first with a goal coming off the stick of freshman forward Evan Konyen, 17:30 into the opening frame. The lone goal of the first 20:00.

Clarkson netted the next three and established a 3-1 lead less than a minute into the third period.

Konyen added another and recorded his first collegiate multi-goal (and multi-point) effort, to bring the visitors within one as only 2:14 remained in regulation.

Despite the late attempt to even the score, the Tigers were unable to add a third goal and fell 2-3. All five scored in the game were at even strength.

Sophomore goaltender Jakub Krbecek made 25 saves in the 60:00 contest.
