Atlantic Hockey America Announces 2024-25 Men's All-Conference Teams

All-AHA and AHA All-Rookie teams honored

BOSTON, Mass. - March 10, 2025 - Atlantic Hockey America is proud to recognize the 22 student-athletes represented on the 2024-25 All-AHA teams and AHA All-Rookie Team.

2024-25 ALL-AHA FIRST TEAM
The All-AHA First Team includes forwards Ethan Leyh from Bentley, Liam McLinskey from Holy Cross, and Matthew Wilde from RIT. Leyh (13g, 20a, 33pts) ended the regular season as Bentley's leading scorer, and averaged 1.2 points per game in conference play with 30 points in 25 AHA games. McLinskey (20g, 23a, 43pts) was among the top scorers in the country in the regular season, and led Atlantic Hockey in goals (19) and points (39) during conference play. Wilde (18g, 14a, 32pts) scored 17 goals in 23 league games, and his 18 total goals ranked third in Atlantic Hockey despite playing just 26 games during the regular season.

The All-AHA First Team defensemen include Army's Mac Gadowsky and Bentley's Nick Bochen. Gadowsky (12g, 23a, 35pts) was among the highest-scoring defensemen in the country, and led Atlantic Hockey blueliners in goals (11), assists (22), and points (33) in AHA play. Bochen (7g, 17a, 24pts) was second among AHA defensemen in points during league play with 19 on five goals and 14 assists.

The All-AHA First Team goaltender is Holy Cross' Thomas Gale. Playing in all 26 league games, Gale led Atlantic Hockey in goals-against average (1.71), save percentage (.940) and wins (19). The senior netminder also posted two shutouts in AHA play.

2024-25 ALL-AHA SECOND TEAM
The All-AHA Second Team forwards consist of Canisius' Matteo Giampa, Niagara's Trevor Hoskin, and Sacred Heart's Felix Trudeau. Giampa (8g, 22a, 30pts) paced the Golden Griffins in scoring and ranked tied for sixth in the conference with 29 points in AHA play. Hoskin (12g, 25a, 37pts) led the league in scoring among rookies with 29 points on nine goals and 20 assists during league play. Trudeau (15g, 23a, 38pts) was tied for second in the AHA with five power play goals in league play, and averaged more than a point per game in conference play with 28 points in 26 AHA games.

The All-AHA Second Team defensemen include Holy Cross' Mack Oliphant and Sacred Heart's Mikey Adamson. Oliphant (2g, 19a, 21pts) and Adamson (11g, 15a, 26pts) were tied for fourth among AHA blueliners with 17 points in conference play. Oliphant's 15 assists in league play were tied for second among AHA defensemen. Adamson's three game-winning goals in AHA play led the league among blueliners.

The All-AHA Second Team goaltender is Bentley's Connor Hasley. Hasley led all of college hockey with eight shutouts during the regular season, with all eight coming in league play. The junior netminder posted a 1.98 goals-against average and .921 save percentage against AHA competition.

2024-25 ALL-AHA THIRD TEAM
The All-AHA Third Team forwards consist of Holy Cross' Devin Phillips, Niagara's Jay Ahearn, and RIT's Tyler Fukakusa. Phillips (8g, 18a, 26pts) averaged more than a point per game in AHA play with 23 points on seven goals and 16 assists in 22 league games. Ahearn (16g, 18a, 34pts) was third in the league with 16 goals in the regular season, and collected 23 points on 10 goals and 13 assists in 25 league games. Fukakusa (9g, 27a, 36pts) led Atlantic Hockey with 27 assists on the season, and led the league with 23 assists in 26 AHA games. His 31 points in conference play was tied for third in the conference.

The All-AHA Third Team defensemen include Evan Stella from AIC and Hunter Sansbury from Sacred Heart. Stella (1g, 6a, 7pts) dished out five assists, fired 37 shots on goal, and blocked 35 shots in conference play. Sansbury (6g, 12a, 18pts) led Atlantic Hockey with 62 blocks in league play. He also added five goals and nine assists for 14 points against AHA competition.

The All-AHA Third Team goaltender is Sacred Heart's Ajeet Gundarah. Gundarah ranked fourth overall and led rookie netminders in the conference with a .929 save percentage in league play. His three shutouts in AHA play were second-most in the league.

2024-25 AHA ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
The AHA All-Rookie Team includes forwards Jack Ivey from Army, Matt Kursonis from Holy Cross, and Trevor Hoskin from Niagara. Ivey (10g, 13a, 23pts) led AHA rookies with 10 goals in conference play, and finished second among rookies in points with 22 helpers against AHA competition. Kursonis (7g, 11a, 18pts) led Crusader rookies in scoring with 18 points in the regular season, and orchestrated a nine-game point streak in league play that went from Jan. 11 - Feb. 8. Hoskin (12g, 25a, 37pts) led AHA rookies in assists during league play with 20, and put together two separate seven-game point streaks during the regular season.

The AHA All-Rookie defensemen are Canisius' Dominic Payne and Robert Morris' Dominic Elliott. Payne (6g, 8a, 14pts) scored four goals and dished out seven assists for 11 points in AHA play, and was tied for the lead among rookie defensemen with a rating of +11 in league play. Elliott (6g, 13a, 19pts) paced rookie defensemen in scoring with 14 points in league play. His five goals in conference play also led AHA rookie blueliners.

The AHA All-Rookie goaltender is Sacred Heart's Ajeet Gundarah. Gundarah saw action in 19 AHA games during the regular season, winning 13. He boasted a 1.99 goals-against average in 1118:09 between the pipes against AHA competition.

About Atlantic Hockey America
Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) embarks on its first season in 2024-25 after the merger between the Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America. The conference fields 11 men’s teams (American International College, Bentley University, Canisius University, The College of Holy Cross, Mercyhurst University, Niagara University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University, Sacred Heart University, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Military Academy), and six women’s teams (Lindenwood University, Mercyhurst University, Penn State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University, and Syracuse University).
