ROBERT MORRIS 4, RPI 2
Box Score | Game Highlights
Troy, N.Y. – Jessica MacKinnon (Clarks Harbour, N.S.) scored the first two goals of the game in the first period, leading Robert Morris to a 4-2 victory and a sweep of its two-game series at RPI.

MacKinnon added an assist on an empty-net goal by Greta Brezenski (Waunakee, Wis.) for a three-point afternoon. Brezenski had three assists, giving her a second game this season with four or more points. Alaina Giampietro (Strongsville, Ohio) added a goal and an assist.

All three of those players – Brezenski (12), Giampietro (11) and MacKinnon (10) – have reached double digits in points, giving Robert Morris three of the first six players in the nation to do so this season.

The sweep improves AHA’s cumulative out-of-conference record to 10-11-1 on the season.

RIT 3, DELAWARE 2
Box Score | Game Highlights
Rochester, N.Y. – Sophomore forward Heron Rohweder (Boise, Idaho) scored her first career goal 7:24 into the third period, providing the difference in RIT’s 3-2 win against Delaware and giving the Tigers a weekend sweep in their first conference action of the season.

Rohweder’s goal capped an entertaining back-and-forth affair that saw Delaware take an early lead on a goal from senior Danica Mark (Duluth, Minn.). RIT responded with goals in the first and last minutes of the second period to take a 2-1 lead.

Junior Zoe Ziotas (Markham, Ont.) had RIT’s second goal, her fourth straight game with a goal. That streak is the longest for a Tiger since Jaymee Nolan scored in four straight in 2019-20.

Ziotas’s goal came shorthanded with just 41 seconds remaining in the second period, but Delaware responded just 18 seconds later with the Blue Hens’ first power-play goal of the season.

That set the stage for Rohweder in the third period, while RIT held a 15-3 shot advantage in the final stanza.

Box Score
Syracuse, N.Y. – Penn State rebounded from Friday’s upset with an impressive performance Saturday, shutting out Syracuse 4-0 behind 30 saves from Maddy Campbell (Courtice, Ont.) and two goals from Nichole Hall (Stockholm, Sweden).

Hall started the scoring on a first-period power play, scoring just before time expired on the advantage. Freshman Sofia Ismael (St. George, Ont.) doubled the lead 31 seconds into the second period.

Hall’s second goal came just 78 seconds into the third, and Mikah Keller (Mosinee, Wis.) made it 4-0 with her second goal in as many days.

Penn State was without forwards Grace Outwater (Picton, Ont.) and Abby Stonehouse (Blenheim, Ont.), who are attending Hockey Canada’s National Team Selection Camp ahead of the upcoming IIHF World Championship.
