#5/5 PENN STATE 3, LINDENWOOD 0
Box Score | Game Highlights
University Park, Pa. – Penn State fired 66 shots on goal – the third-highest total all-time in an AHA conference game – and freshman Morgan Stickney (St. Charles, Mo.) stopped all 18 shots she faced for her first career shutout, a 3-0 Nittany Lion win against Lindenwood Saturday to sweep the weekend series.

Defenseman Danica Maynard (Lake Country, B.C.) scored the game’s first goal late in the first period on assists from Sofia Ismael (St. George, Ont.) and Abby Stonehouse (Blenheim, Ont.). After a scoreless second period in which Penn State had 29 shots on goal, Grace Outwater (Picton, Ont.) built the lead to 2-0 with a shorthanded tally in the third. Ismael added an empty-net goal in the third for the 3-0 final.

Outwater has a goal in five of her six games this season and five shorthanded goals in her career, all in conference games. That is tied for the fifth-most career SHGs in AHA play.

Lindenwood freshman Ebba Ridderstolpe (Botkyrka, Sweden) stopped 63 shots in her fifth consecutive start, one save shy of former Lion Nicole Hensley’s single-game record for an AHA conference game.
