TEAM NOTES
DELAWARE
• Sophomore goaltender Charlotte Payne (Oakville, Ont.) made her 1,000th career save Saturday in her 27th career game. By comparison, the AHA record holder for career saves – Nicole Hensley, now of PWHL Las Vegas – reached 1,000 saves in her 28th career game, her final appearance of her freshman season.
• With the win against Union Friday, Delaware avenged two losses to the Garnet Chargers from last season and matched last season’s win total in just the seventh game of the year. The Blue Hens face another team that swept them last season in LIU.
• Eleven Blue Hens have scored at least a goal this season. All of last year only 12 found the back of the net.
LINDENWOOD
• Freshman Ebba Ridderstolpe (Botkyrka, Sweden), who has made five straight starts, stopped 63 Penn State shots on Saturday, one save shy of Nicole Hensley’s AHA record for saves in a conference game (64 vs. Mercyhurst, Nov. 2, 2012).
• Lindenwood has been held to one goal or been shutout in five of its six losses this season.
MERCYHURST
• Mercyhurst has killed 27 of 28 shorthanded situations (96.4%) entering its series at UConn, which boasts a 31.3% power play.
• After starting the season 2-for-19 on the power play (10.5%), Mercyhurst has scored on 2 of its last 3 opportunities (66.7%).
• Mercyhurst’s next conference win will be its 300th, leading all AHA schools (299-74-30).
PENN STATE
• Grace Outwater (Picton, Ont.) scored her fifth career shorthanded goal Saturday, tied with Minnesota Duluth’s Caitlin Kraemer for the most among active players. All have come in conference games; she is tied for fifth in AHA career shorthanded goals, more than halfway to the record holder (Meghan Agosta, 9).
• With her first two-goal game on Friday, freshman Kylie Amelkovich (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) now has four goals in the last five games.
• Sophie Morrow (Darien, Conn.) has eight points, all in the last five games. She is already halfway to her freshman season total of 16 points.
• Junior Nicole Hall (Stockholm, Sweden) has been named to Sweden’s National Team roster for the upcoming Lidl Hockey Games and 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship.
RIT
• RIT allowed 24 goals in its first four games, but cut that to 12 in its last four games. The Tigers allowed 30 or more shots in each of the first four games, but less than 30 in each of the last four.
• Junior Zoe Ziotas (Markham, Ont.) is one of six players nationally with seven or more goals on the season. Ziotas entered the season averaging 2.5 goals in her first two seasons; the other five players with at least seven goals entered 2026-27 averaging 19 goals per season.
ROBERT MORRIS
• RMU boasts the top three scorers in the Ice Breaker Tournament in Greta Brezenski (Waunakee, Wis.), Alaina Giampietro (Strongsville, Ohio) and Jessica MacKinnon (Clarks Harbour, N.S.), who are tied for seventh in the nation with 12 points each.
• That trio had accounted for Robert Morris’s last eight goals before Taylor Storey (Waterloo, Ont.) and Rowyn Ringor (Winnipeg, Man.) each scored goals on Saturday.
SYRACUSE
• AHA Forward of the Week Emma Gnade (Fenton, Mo.) scored Syracuse’s first goal of the season but has been on an assist tear since, leading the conference with nine.
• Freshman defenseman Maryn Broderick (Waterloo, Ont.) scored her first career goal Saturday, the game winner. She finished +2 on the weekend and had an assist Friday.
• Four players have multiple-goal games for the Orange this season, led by Jackson Kinsler (Madison, Wis.) with two.
