AHA Men's Players of the Week: Oct. 26-31, 2026

Honorees led four schools to significant victories this week.

BOSTON – The Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) men’s player of the week honors for the week ending Oct. 31 recognize players from four schools who helped lead their teams to victories vs. Air Force (Robert Morris), at Clarkson (Niagara), vs. RIT (Army West Point) and at Cornell (Sacred Heart).

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Forward of the Week: Jackson Reineke, Robert Morris
(Sr., Faribault, Minn.)
Defenseman of the Week: Theo Lemieux, Niagara (Fr., Ste-Claire, Que.)
Goaltender of the Week: JJ Cataldo, Army West Point (Jr., Stuart, Fla.)
Rookie of the Week: Ethan Semeniuk, Sacred Heart (F, Fort St. John, B.C.)

FORWARD OF THE WEEK
Jackson Reineke was the only AHA player to record multiple goals this week, scoring Friday and Saturday as Robert Morris earned a split against Air Force. He had the first Colonials goal in both games, sparking Saturday’s come-from-behind victory with his first power-play tally of the year.

Reineke leads Robert Morris in goals (three, tied) and points (six) through nine games. He has points in three straight games and five of his last six.

This marks the first AHA weekly award of Reineke’s career.

DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Theo Lemieux shared the conference lead with three points on the week, posting a goal and two assists as Niagara earned a tie and a win on the road at Clarkson. He had an assist in Friday’s tie and then scored the first goal and added an assist Saturday, his first career multiple-point game. Lemieux had four blocked shots and a +3 rating on the week.

The freshman is tied for second on Niagara in scoring with six points on the season, which leads all AHA rookie defensemen.

Lemieux’s honor is the first AHA weekly award of his career.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
JJ Cataldo enjoyed a perfect week for Army West Point, stopping all 50 shots he faced in 2-0 and 3-0 home wins against RIT. The back-to-back shutouts are the first in his career and give him eight total, most of all active NCAA goaltenders.

Cataldo leads all AHA goaltenders in wins (5), goals-against average (1.49), shutouts (2, tied) and save percentage (.945) through six starts.

Cataldo has been named AHA Goaltender of the Week four times in his career and twice was AHA Rookie of the Week as a freshman.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ethan Semeniuk was the lone Sacred Heart skater to record points in both games at Cornell this weekend, including the game-winning goal in Saturday’s comeback win. His third-period tally – the first goal of his career – gave the Pioneers a 3-2 lead with 7:27 to play that they would not relinquish.

Semeniuk has played all eight games for Sacred Heart and had one assist entering last week’s play. This is the first AHA weekly award of his career.
