The final week of the regular season is here.

BOSTON - The final week of regular season action in Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) has arrived, and many spots in the league’s postseason seeding have yet to be decided.

The league is set to close out February with all 10 programs competing before heading into postseason play in March. After Bentley claimed its first regular season crown in program history, seeds No. 2-9 are up for grabs through Saturday night.

AROUND AHA
  • Canisius junior forward Walter Zacher’s 11 goals since Jan. 1 are the fourth-most in Division I.
  • Sacred Heart senior forward Felix Trudeau has five multi-goal games this season, tied for the third most in the nation.
  • Bentley sophomore forward Michael Mesic has netted a goal in five straight games, tied for the longest active scoring streak in the country.
  • Robert Morris freshman blueliner John Babcock’s 96 blocks lead Division I.

QUICK HITS
  • Holy Cross sophomore forward Matthew Kursonis (2G-6A), Robert Morris junior forward Tanner Klimpke (2G-6A) and Canisius senior forward Killian Kiecker-Olson are tied for the AHA point lead in February with eight each.
  • Army West Point sophomore forward Jack Ivey’s three power play goals since Feb. 1 are tied for the second-most in Division I.
  • Niagara senior forward Glebs Prohorenkovs’s 1,491 faceoff wins lead all active skaters in the nation.
  • In February, Air Force senior Chris Hedden (33G-71A-104PTS) became the only active Division I blueliner with 70+ career assists.

LAKE EFFECT
As the regular season closes this weekend, so does a 38-season run of head coach Rick Gotkin behind the Mercyhurst bench in Erie, Pa. The Lakers will host Robert Morris in their regular season and home finale on Saturday night, in an evening in which they plan to celebrate Gotkin’s career.

Since Mercyhurst made its jump to the Division I level in 1999-2000, it holds a 202-172-47 record through 421 home games.

- AHA has seen eight hat tricks in 2025-26, with half of those coming since Jan. 1. Sacred Heart senior forward Reid Pabich netted his first as a Pioneer on Saturday, Feb. 21, the second hat trick in the conference this month.

24 - Bentley senior forward Jake Black’s 24 points (12G-12A) are the third-most in Division I since Jan. 1.

853 - RIT’s 853 shots faced this season are the least among any AHA program, and one of two in the conference under 900 (Bentley, 895).
