AHA Men’s Final Frame (Feb. 27, 2026)

Sacred Heart secures the No. 2 seed in AHA's Postseason.

BOSTON - All 10 members of Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) began their final regular-season series on Friday evening.

Although Bentley University had previously secured the top seed, the standings remained tightly contested entering Saturday’s regular-season finale. Notably, Sacred Heart clinched the second seed in the 2026 AHA Men’s Championship after earning a road victory over Army West Point.

NIAGARA VS. CANISIUS
In Niagara, the contest remained closely contested throughout regulation, with the teams tied, 2-2, in the waning minutes of the third period. Junior forward Declan McDonnell scored the game-winning goal with three minutes remaining, lifting Niagara to a 3-2 victory over Canisius.

Sophomore goaltender Deivs Rolovs recorded 35 saves for the Purple Eagles in the win.

MERCYHURST VS. ROBERT MORRIS
With Mercyhurst holding a narrow 3–2 lead midway through the third period, Robert Morris responded with two goals in 32 seconds to reclaim momentum and secure a 5-2 victory on home ice.

Five different skaters scored for the Colonials, while Luke van Why netted the game-winning goal with five minutes remaining. Goaltender Charlie Schenkel made 18 saves in the victory. Despite the loss, Mercyhurst goaltender Salvatore Evola delivered a standout performance, stopping a season-high 58 shots for the Lakers.

HOLY CROSS VS. RIT
Senior forward Jack Seymour provided an early spark for Holy Cross, scoring 30 seconds into the contest on Senior Night. RIT answered early in the second period when Ty Whyte evened the score, 1-1. However, Holy Cross seized control thereafter, scoring four unanswered goals to earn a decisive 5-1 victory.

Goaltender Danick Leroux limited the Tigers to just one goal and 17 saves for the Crusaders.

ARMY WEST POINT VS. SACRED HEART
A three-goal surge spanning the second and third periods propelled Sacred Heart to a 3-2 road victory over Army West Point. Felix Trudeau scored the game-winning goal with two minutes remaining, extending his conference-leading total to 23 goals on the season.

Sophomore goaltender Ajeet Gundarah made 30 saves to earn his ninth win of the year, allowing only one even-strength goal.

BENTLEY VS. AIR FORCE
Two first-period goals set the tone for the United States Air Force Academy in a 3-2 road victory over Bentley. Ahead by one in the third period, the Falcons extended their lead when freshman Oliver Genest scored early in the frame to seal the win and net his fifth goal in the last five games.

Goaltender Dominik Wasik recorded 24 saves, limiting one of the conference’s top offensive teams to two goals on the night.
