AHA’s best-of-three semifinal round begins on Friday with four teams set for action.

BOSTON - The 2026 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Women’s Postseason continues as teams compete for a spot in the league’s championship game, with two best-of-three series beginning on Friday.
 
SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS (FULL BRACKET)
Best-of-three series, Friday, Feb. 26-Sunday, March 1
  • No. 5 Syracuse at No. 1 Penn State (Pegula Ice Arena - University Park, PA)
  • No. 3 Lindenwood at No. 2 Mercyhurst (Mercyhurst Ice Center - Erie, PA)

AROUND AHA
  • Game One of the AHA Semifinal (Lindenwood at Mercyhurst) will be featured on FloHockey's FAST Channel.  The contest will stream on the following platforms: Amazon Prime, Bell Fibe TV, Fubo and YouTube.
  • Until last Saturday, Lindenwood’s 3-2 win against Mercyhurst on March 2, 2017, was the program's most recent postseason victory.
  • Mercyhurst senior blueliner Makayla Javier leads all active Division I skaters with 33 career blocks in postseason play.

  • Syracuse sophomore forward Peyton Armstrong’s four points (2G-2A) lead all Division I skaters in conference tournaments.
  • Penn State senior forward Tessa Janecke leads all active skaters with 12 points (7G-5A) in nine AHA postseason games.
  • Mercyhurst freshman blueliner Holly VanNetten leads AHA skaters playing this weekend, entering play on a three-game goal-scoring streak.


NET GAINS
Penn State goaltender Katie DeSa leads all active Division I netminders (min. 2 GP) in conference tournaments with a 0.67 goals-against average, and has the second-highest save percentage at .965. The senior’s three shutouts between 2023-25 also lead any netminder in league postseasons.

The Pawcatuck, Conn., native’s six wins are tied for the second-most in conference tournaments.
