FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart senior forward
Felix Trudeau was named a
“Top Ten” finalist for the 2026 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, given to the top men’s ice hockey player at the Division I level annually.
The Terrebonne, Quebec native finished the season leading the nation with 12 power play goals, the second-most goals in the nation (25), and tallied 47 points (25G-22A), tied for the sixth-most points in the nation. All three categories are career highs for the Pioneer.
Trudeau also recorded five multi-goal games, which was tied for the fifth-most in the country. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound senior also recorded two hat tricks, one of six skaters in Division I to record more than one in 2025-26.
Additionally, Trudeau recorded 15 multi-point games, tied for third among collegiate skaters, and netted five game-winning goals.
In AHA play, Trudeau claimed both the Player of the Year and Forward of the Year Awards after he finished the 2025-26 AHA campaign, leading the league in both goals (16), power play goals (7) and also earned the title of AHA Scoring Champion as he topped all skaters in conference play in points.
Trudeau is set to hit the ice on Saturday, March 21, in the AHA Championship game against top-seeded Bentley.
The final three individuals, also known as the “Hobey Hat Trick,” will be announced in early April, with the winner announced in Las Vegas at the 2026 Men’s Frozen Four.
