AHA Men’s Final Frame (March 7, 2026)

Bentley, Sacred Heart and Holy Cross advance while Robert Morris forces a decisive Game three.

BOSTON - The 2026 Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) postseason continued Saturday night with game two of the best-of-three quarterfinal series. Three teams punched their tickets to the semifinals, while Robert Morris earned a win on home ice to force a decisive game three on Sunday evening.

NO. 10 MERCYHURST VS. NO. 1 BENTLEY
After pulling out a triple-overtime, come-from-behind victory in game one, Bentley flipped the script Saturday and controlled game two from the start.

David Helledy opened the scoring four and a half minutes into the game with the first of his two goals on the night, and the Falcons went on to score five unanswered goals to secure the series and advance to next weekend’s semifinals.

Lukas Swedin faced limited action but stopped all 14 shots he faced to record the shutout victory.

NO. 8 NIAGARA VS. NO. 2 SACRED HEART
The game was tied 1-1 after two periods following goals from Sacred Heart’s Paul Minnehan and Niagara’s Dallon Melin.

Midway through the third period, Vitaly Levvy scored his second game-winning goal of the series to send the Pioneers to the semifinal round.

Ajeet Gundarah made 23 saves on 24 shots to lead Sacred Heart in net.

NO. 6 AIR FORCE VS. NO 3 ROBERT MORRIS
Facing elimination, Robert Morris came out strong with four goals across the first two periods.

Julian Beaumont opened the scoring just three minutes into the game, and Dario Beljo doubled the lead less than a minute later with what proved to be the game-winning goal. Chris Hedden added a goal for Air Force early in the third period, but the Colonials held on to force a game three on Sunday evening.

Charlie Schenkel earned the win for Robert Morris with 33 saves.

NO. 5 RIT VS. NO 4 HOLY CROSS
Holy Cross carried a 4-1 lead into the third period of game two, but RIT mounted a late comeback.

William Moore brought the Tigers within two, six and a half minutes into the period, before Austin Brimmer scored less than two minutes later to cut the deficit to one. With the extra attacker on the ice, Brimmer struck again with 30 seconds remaining to tie the game and force overtime.

Just over four minutes into overtime, the Crusaders entered the zone on a three-on-two rush. Jack Stockfish trailed the play and received a pass back to the point before firing a shot into the back of the net for his second goal of the night, sending Holy Cross to the semifinal round.

Danick Leroux made 33 saves to earn the win in goal for the Crusaders.
