All seven AHA programs are set to compete as Penn State returns from a bye week.

BOSTON - All seven Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) teams are in action for the first time since Oct. 20-26.

No. 6/6 Penn State returns to action as it hosts Syracuse for two games at Pegula Ice Arena in University Park, Pa. The Nittany Lions are undefeated and have a Division I-high eight conference wins, and are tied for the most overall wins in Division I with 12.

MATCHUPS
Nov. 14/15 (Friday/Saturday)

  • Syracuse at No. 6/6 Penn State
  • RIT at (RV) Mercyhurst
  • RPI at Robert Morris
  • Lindenwood at Delaware

QUICK HITS

  • The Nittany Lions are one of seven teams nationally with a penalty kill success rate above 90 percent.
  • No team has more than RIT's four games this season with at least two power play goals.
  • Delaware's netminders have made a minimum of 30 saves in 12 consecutive games. This serves as the longest active and overall streak of its kind this season.
  • Mercyhurst sophomore Abby Poitras has tallied six points (6A) throughout her four-game point streak, the second-longest active run of its kind among Division I defensemen.

LIFE ON THE LAKE
Mercyhurst head coach Mike Sisti earned his 300th career conference victory last Saturday on the road at Robert Morris.

The 27-year Lakers' head coach enters the weekend with 597 wins and is on pace to become the second active Division I women's head coach with 600 career wins.

Sisti's program has been on a roll, posting a 4-1-1 record over its last six games, including four straight victories. No program has more wins (4) or goals (22) than Mercyhurst going back to Oct. 25. Since then, sophomore forward Julia Schalin is tied for the third-most points in the nation with eight (2G-6A) in five games.

HOCKEY VALLEY HEAT WAVE
Penn State has been one of the hottest teams in college hockey this season. The Nittany Lions have scored at least three goals in all 12 games it has played this season.

That is the most consecutive games with at least three this season of any team and the only active streak in Division I above 10 games.

Senior forward Tessa Janecke is tied for the third-most multi-point games (7) in the nation this season. The Nittany Lions' captain's 16 points (8G-8A) are the second most among players who have skated in 10 games or fewer this season.
