BOSTON, Mass. – March 23, 2024 – Atlantic Hockey America postseason champion Bentley learned its NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Championship destination on Sunday.
The Falcons will meet Boston College out of Hockey East in the first round on Friday, March 28 in Manchester, N.H. Puck drop is slated for 2:00 p.m. ET.
It's the first trip to the NCAA Tournament for Bentley, which earned the AHA’s automatic bid with a 6-3 win over Holy Cross in the AHA Championship Game on Saturday, March 22.
The Falcons enter the NCAA tournament with a 23-14-2 overall record that includes a 16-9-1 mark in AHA play.
Andy Jones' squad received votes in the latest USCHO and USA Hockey/The Rink Live national polls that were released on March 17.
Boston College opens NCAA play with a 26-7-2 mark and earned the Hockey East regular season title with a conference record of 18-4-2. The Eagles were upset by Northeastern in the quarterfinal round of the Hockey East postseason tournament by a score of 3-1 on Saturday, March 15.
