AHA Men’s Players of the Month (February 2026)

Sacred Heart’s Trudeau and Ellis, Air Force’s Wasik and Army West Point’s Batten honored with AHA awards for February performance.

BOSTON - Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced its January Players of the Month on Monday.

Three programs were represented with two first-time honorees.

FORWARD OF THE MONTH
Trudeau collected his second monthly AHA honor of 2025-26 after leading the conference and finishing tied for fourth in the nation with 12 points (2G-10A) in eight games.

The Terrebonne, Quebec native’s 12 points are a career high in a single month, and are the most by any Sacred Heart skater in a month since 2016-17.

In February, Trudeau also recorded two game-winning goals.

DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH
Ellis earned his first-ever weekly AHA honor after finishing near the top tier of blueliners in offensive statistics.

The Urbandale, Iowa native’s eight points (3G-5A) were tied for the third-most in the nation during February. Additionally, his five goals were tied for the second-most among Division I defensemen. Ellis’s February goal and point total are tied for the third-most among all AHA blueliners during the 2025-26 campaign.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Wasik finished February with a 4-2-2 record in eight games played to take his second monthly honor of the campaign.

The Superior, Colo., native had a 2.21 goals-against average (third in the AHA) and a .913 save percentage. Wasik also led AHA with two shutouts between Feb. 1-28, becoming one of four goaltenders in the nation to record multiple shutouts in that span. The Air Force junior also made 189 saves through those games.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Batten earned the first monthly honor of his career after leading all AHA freshmen and tied for eighth in the country with eight points (1G-7A) in seven games played.

The Phoenixville, Pa. native’s seven assists throughout the month of February were tied for the second-most among all Division I freshmen. Among AHA freshmen, Batten’s seven assists are the second-most in a single month in 2025-26.
