BOSTON - Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced its Players of the Week on Tuesday for games played between Nov. 10-16.
Sacred Heart has its first week with multiple winners in 2025-26. The pair of forwards represented this week combined for nine goals last week, the most by any AHA duo this season.
Forward: Felix Trudeau, SR, Sacred Heart (Terrebonne, Quebec)
Defenseman: Will Elias, JR, Holy Cross (Weston, Mass.)
Goaltender: Ajeet Gundarah, SO, Sacred Heart (Richmond, British Columbia)
Rookie: Maxim Muranov (F), Niagara (Moskva, Russia)
Trudeau had a five-point (5G) weekend and recorded his first collegiate hat trick in his 100th Division I game on Friday, Nov. 14, in a 6-1 victory over Canisius. Five goals in a single week are tied for the most in Division I in the current campaign. The Pioneer is one of three players to accomplish this feat in 2025-26.
The Terrebonne, Quebec native finished the weekend with five goals as he netted two more in a 3-2 win to sweep the Golden Griffins on Saturday, Nov. 15. Five goals in a single week is the most among any active Pioneer on Sacred Heart's roster. Trudeau's surge marks the first time an AHA skater has scored five in a week since 2023-24 (
Jack Ricketts, Holy Cross).
This is Trudeau's second weekly AHA honor of his career and first of the 2025-26 campaign.
Elias set a season high for points in a single series by a Holy Cross blueliner as he tallied three (3A) in a series sweep at Air Force.
The Weston, Mass. native added two helpers in a 4-1 victory over the Falcons on Saturday, Nov. 15, his first multi-point game of the season.
This is Elias's second career AHA Defenseman of the Week honor and first of 2025-26.
Gundarah earned his seventh overall AHA weekly honor, the third as Goaltender of the Week and first of the current campaign.
The Richmond, British Columbia native led all AHA goaltenders that appeared in two games last week with a 1.50 goals-against average, a .943 save percentage and made 50 saves, which tied for the most among all conference goaltenders.
The sophomore netminder faced 53 shots and only allowed three goals to Canisius, and played an integral role in the sweep of Canisius.
Muranov earned his second Rookie of the Week award this season after tallying seven points (4G-3A) in two games, a single-week season high among any Division I freshman in 2025-26.
The Moskva, Russia native had two multi-point games last week. On Friday, Nov. 14, Muranov tallied three (1G-2A) in the 6-4 victory over Army West Point and recorded a hat trick and four points overall (3G-1A) in the 4-1 victory to sweep the Black Knights on Saturday, Nov. 15.
No freshman has found the back of the net more than four times in a single week in 2025-26. Seven points is tied for the AHA record by a freshman in a single weekend.
